Intentional Living

Our Week with the Mouse, 2020 (and our Disney photo drop)!

We just returned from spending a magical week with the Mouse himself, once again. The hardest part about going to Disney, is leaving Disney! The kids have experienced their own Walt Disney World withdrawals this year, and of course we’re already dreaming of our next trip. We had such a magnificent time! The kids were tall enough and BRAVE enough to ride almost everything, and that meant that we had even more of a fantastic trip! Seeing your 3-year-old with his hands up on the roller coasters, is definitely reason to smile, as if Disney doesn’t give you enough of those.

We stayed at our favorite resort, and the best new thing of our trip was traveling via the Disney Skyliner, which went directly from our hotel to two theme parks (Epcot, and Hollywood Studios), not to mention the fun that it was for the kids to ride the Skyliner alone. Easier and faster than the bus, and super close to our suite definitely made it the preferred method of travel. Hollywood Studios is our favorite park and we went there on 4 different days, making it much easier to get there quickly.

Park day 1 was also travel day to Orlando. We arrived at our hotel, and went straight to lunch at Chef Mickey’s, said hello to our fav characters, and on to Epcot to ride our favorite rides there and meet Elsa and Anna of course. We spent two days at Magic Kingdom where they were lucky enough to ride Mine Train repeatedly and catch their favorite princesses and the traditional rides. We spent one day at Animal Kindgom where we did the safari, dined with some pals, saw the Lion King show and caught a few rides, and we spent four glorious days at Hollywood Studios. Our kids truly had the most wonderful time. They met every one of their favorite characters and princesses, had their traditional Disney snacks, adored their Finding Nemo suite at Art of Animation, got lots of goodies, and smiled constantly. We dined with princesses, and in the castle, we dined with Disney Jr. pals, and of course with Mickey, Minnie, and the gang several times. We saw every inch of the new Star Wars exhibit and rode Rise of the Resistance twice. Josiah was in awe and never wanted to leave! These little one’s were the best little travelers and went non-stop, ready for more the next day. We came home just in time to celebrate Josiah turning 4 and to take a long nap! I’m not quite sure how my baby boy is 4, but we sure are enjoying making lots of memories with these little ones.

Until next time Disney! Wishing you lots of magic and pixie dust!
