Well, here we are again, a few weeks past time for an update, but what can I say? I spend my days keeping two little people alive! The days are passing rapidly and we’ve been busy cramming fun in every single moment. The past 6 weeks have been a blur; a wonderful chaotic blur.  The days are passing so much faster than I remember when bringing Addisyn home.  However, I’m sure that’s because life is much busier chasing an almost two-year-old and also caring for a newborn. Still, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The days are spent wearing many hats as a mother, chef, nurse, maid, and playmate among others.  Between the household chores and baby cuddles there’s many tea parties, play dates, dance sessions, art lessons, and laughs with my girl.  Needless to say, there’s never a dull moment and I can’t believe my little guy is already nearing 7…

It has been 5 weeks since I logged on and wrote letters to each of my loves as we anxiously awaited the arrival of our new addition to our family! During that hiatus, we have fallen head over heels in love with our new little guy! Josiah Steven was born on January 19, 2016 at 8:08AM weighing 8 lbs 12.8 oz and 21 inches long!  Life has been nothing short of amazing as we have transitioned to a family of four. Soon after Addisyn was born we purchased a Buick Enclave as my new mommy ride. We instantly fell in love with the third row seating, extra space for strollers, toys, the pup, and all those millions of things new parents end up carrying around. (Where does this stuff come from?!)  It was only fitting that with the impending arrival of Josiah, that we upgraded Justin to an appropriate daddy ride. Christmas 2015 has came and sadly gone! We had an amazing Christmas season and were sad to pack up all the lights and trees that Addy was so infatuated with.  She still asks me daily, “Where’s the Christmas tree?!” It was a busy and great season for us. Addy got visits from several family members and Nana and Papa stayed a week with us. With Christmas being less than two weeks away, even if we are experiencing the warmest Christmas season I ever remember… (Hello! The countdown continues, just over five weeks left until the arrival of our little man!  With the rush of the holiday season, it seems to be going by so fast.  I guess I should be grateful for that at the end of my pregnancy.  We are preparing Addisyn that the baby in mommy’s belly will be coming out soon, she’s understanding about as well as any 1 1/2 year old can. Wow! Another month in the books, another few weeks crossed off the countdown to our baby boy. Time is flying in a private jet, it seems! We are less than 7 weeks away from meeting our main man and we are busy preparing and trying to wrap our brains around what it will be like growing to a family of four.  We are so very blessed!  Everywhere we go, everything we do, we are reminded of the gifts the Lord has given us and I am so thankful to be right here, right now!
